ABOUT ME

PhD Metaphysics, Energy Alchemist & Founder of ENSO Sound Immersion Studio

I work at the intersection of energy, embodiment, and leadership supporting individuals, groups, and organisations through periods of transition, recalibration, and growth.

My work integrates sound immersion, embodied practices, and energetic literacy, grounded in both lived experience and formal study. It is practical, experiential, and designed to support clarity, presence, and meaningful change over time.

HOW I WORK

My work is not based on a single modality or fixed framework. It is responsive, contextual, and shaped by what is present in the individual, group, or system I am working with.

At its core, my approach is about regulation before resolution supporting the body, nervous system, and inner landscape to settle into coherence so that insight, choice, and change can emerge naturally rather than being forced.

I work experientially, often drawing from sound immersion, embodied awareness, and energetic observation to help people reconnect with their own internal intelligence. Rather than applying techniques to “fix” or override experience, the work creates conditions where clarity, integration, and agency can return.

This way of working is particularly suited to people and organisations navigating complexity — moments where linear solutions are insufficient, and where presence, discernment, and grounded decision-making matter.

The work is quiet, precise, and deeply held. Its impact is often felt not in dramatic moments, but in the sustained shifts that follow: steadier leadership, clearer boundaries, more integrated choices, and a renewed sense of internal alignment.

THE DEFINING MOMENT

Over years of practice, study, and lived experience, a clear pattern emerged: lasting change does not come from addressing a single layer of the human experience.

I observed that meaningful transformation only occurred when internal systems : physical, emotional, cognitive, and energetic — were able to reorganise together. When this coherence was present, clarity followed naturally. When it wasn’t, progress remained temporary, no matter how much effort or insight was applied.

This understanding became a quiet turning point in my work. Rather than adding more techniques or intensifying intervention, I began refining how I hold space prioritising regulation, presence, and internal alignment over force or outcome.

That shift continues to shape everything I do. It is why my work is experiential rather than prescriptive, and why it focuses on creating conditions for change rather than directing it.

Nature & Leadership

My relationship with leadership and embodiment has been shaped as much by nature as by formal study.

For many years, I have led expeditions, retreats, and immersive experiences across East Africa, particularly in mountain environments. These landscapes - demanding, honest, and non-negotiable - have profoundly informed how I understand presence, leadership, and human capacity under pressure.

Through this work, I founded Women Who Hike Africa, a platform that began as a grassroots movement and evolved into a broader network supporting women’s leadership, visibility, and collective empowerment through outdoor experience.

This path has expanded into international collaboration and research. I contribute to the United Nations FAO Mountain Partnership, co-founded the Mountain Women of the World Network  spanning eight countries, and engage in academic and advocacy work exploring gender, leadership, and transformative resilience in mountain communities.

In 2025, I presented at the South African Mountain Conference (SAMC), contributing to conversations on African mountainscapes, gendered power, and community-led transformation.

These experiences continue to shape my work  particularly in how I hold space for uncertainty, decision-making, and leadership that is grounded rather than performative.
